Unlucky Blackpool

Well the chips didn't fall right for Blackpool in it's attempt to secure the UK's only super casino. The crazy choice of Manchester was made by the Casino Advisory Panel - It was a massive mistake by the government to appoint a panel to decide rather than Tony Blair having the guts to make the decision himself. Blackpool locals may well feel chipped off! having played hosts to the Labour party conference in 1998 and 2002, nice payback!
